Fundraiser/Giveaway:
How's it going? I'm Bear, and I am sad to hear that alot of my fellow Cork (and surrounding areas) animals have run out of access to food. It makes me sad to think that they don't have humans like mine who feed me well, keep me warm, play with me, allow me to annoy them for attention, and walk me.

My humans and I read the artcile publsihed today by Cork Beo about the shocking news and 'desperate' appeal to help feed these dogs and cats of Cork that are in need. St Vincent De Paul is such wuvvly organisation that has been driving resources and feeding Cork canines and felines in need for a few years now, but the food has run out.

My human copied this from St Vincent De Paws Facebook page to give you an idea of what exactly you can do to help by donating food at various food drops, donating here today and sharing with yuour fiends (so important), or starting your own fundraiser:
St Vincent De Paws Cork was set up to ensure no Cork dog (and other pets if we can help), whether within a rescue centre, homeless or otherwise goes without food or any other basic need.
St Vincent De Paws is not a registered charity but a page that was set up by two dog loving people who hate to see any dogs suffer needlessly. We depend on food donations from the public in order to help needy dogs, we do not take any monetary donations.
How can you help put an end to hungry dogs in Cork? If you wish to donate dog food, or accessories to St. Vincent De Paws then please PM the page. We are currently working on getting various businesses in and around Cork on board as drop-off locations for any donated food. Lidl and Aldi have pouches of dog food available for .39cent if you were to pick up ten pouches it would only cost €3.90 which some people would hardly miss.
Sadly, there comes a time in every dog owners life when we have to say goodbye to one of our beloved fur babies. Some people are left wondering what to do with their dogs toys, leftover food or bed (many of us choose to keep a few treasured momentos) but if you have lots toys, bedding, etc. then you can honour your beautiful dogs memory by donating them to St. Vincent De Paws for another needy dog out there.
